Down By the Salley Garden

I like the poem Down by the Salley Garden. It reminds me how in the past when i have tried to hurry my relationships with a few guys. It did not work out. I learn that if you take it slow things will go the way you want and get it at the end. At that time when i was trying to hurry a relationship is when i was depress and just got out of 2 year relationship last year or two ago. Its not good to rush things. You have to go slow and take it one day at a time. Right now i am in a relationship and we are doing really good. I love how we are taking it really slow and slow.

The Expectation

I like the book about expectation. It is a wonderful story to read. It makes me think of how i am greatful to have a wonderful family who has taught me how to know bad or good. I have learn so many things for my family and teachers and friends. If i was abused i wouldn't be where i at today. I would probably be unhappy and unsecured. I have so many people who expect me do good and do what i want to make me happy in life. I would say that my parents has gone through a lot of up and down situation to help me to have a normal life with great expectation. I could not hear or talk very well when i had hearing aid. They are the one who push me to get education and to have a good life

Sonnet by Elizabeth Browning

The sonnet by Elizabeth Browning I found was interesting. When people want to hear "I love you" over and over again, it's never too much to say it over again. I believe everyone love is different. No one can have the same love because if you try to have the same love as your friends have, it wouldn't work out the way you wanted. You have to be yourself and try to let your relationship build by the two people, not what your friends have. Every couple needs to hear the word i love you. You may want to say i love you all the time because you will never know when is the last time you will get to say it. I feel that love can be express nonverbally by the way they embrace you or the look in their eyes. The sonnet I felt was portraying this image.

Frankenstein

Frankenstein is a really good book to read. Like someone said "Not beauty but the beast" as the title. I thought is a good way to describe the creature. Beast and the creature has the same feeling of being left out because of what they look like. The only thing that happen at the end is that the beast has found a woman he really love. Unlike the creature, Victor turn the creature down by not going to finish making a woman for the creature. Victor should not reject the creature because the more he reject him and the more everyone the creature see reject him makes him lose his temper. I think when you go to your public school. There would probably be one or two people that will feel rejected by the people in their grades. The more rejected they feel the more problems bottle up inside of this student. There are some ways to deal your anger to not be able to hurt someone. For example, You can go to batting cage, climb to the top of the mountain and let go of your anger and many more. I think some people don't realize that there are other ways to solve problems than to hurt someone. Hurting someone is not going to solve their problems. It just going to make it worse.

"Hymn to Intellectual Beauty"

This week provided some reasonably challenging poems. I enjoyed getting to interpret the meaning of these poems and kind of dive into the poet's mind. A personal favorite poem for this week was "Hymn to Intellectual Beauty." I really got into this poem because there are so many possibilities with this poem. It is left open to the reader, to really interpret the meaning of this poem. Which could change throughout your lifetime or from diffrent people. I just found it really interesting that it made me think about my life and the beauty I see physically and feel spiritually. I am looking forward to this upcoming weeks poems.

Thanks Again!!
